Trouble I’ve seen

Drew Hart is a professor of theology, activist and author of a recent book Trouble I’ve Seen: Changing the Way the Church Views Racism.

Trouble I've Seen “places police brutality, mass incarceration, antiblack stereotypes, poverty, and everyday acts of racism within the larger framework of white supremacy.” Hart offers “concrete practices for churches that seek to live in solidarity with the oppressed and are committed to racial justice.”

Hart is a board member at Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust in Philadelphia, where he spoke during the Germantown Historic District's 2016 Juneteenth celebration.
